Nyhavn Copenhagen Blue Hour

Image 32 of 102

Typical Scandinavian colourfull building facades. The northern side is lined by brightly coloured townhouses built with wood, bricks, and plaster. The oldest house, at No. 9, dates from 1681. Old ships line the Canal. Nyhavn (New Harbour) is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbours many historical wooden ships. There was no one on the streets at the time me and Neelam visited Nyhavn at the early morning blue hour. It was a cold February winter morning. Vega and the asterism of Summer Triangle were visible nicely rising from the east. This image was made on 22 February 2020.
