Intrestingly, the church also contains a copy of the oldest known landscape image of Stockholm, the painting Vädersolstavlan - The Sun Dog Painting, called Vädersolstavlan, Swedish for 'The Sun Painting' depicts a Sun halo display, an atmospheric optical phenomenon, observed over Stockholm on 20 April 1535. It is the oldest depiction of Stockholm and the oldest depiction of 22° halo and sun dogs, with accurate relative brightnesses. Behind the church you can see the bright star trails of Orion constellation, towards the southern direction.
